Overview

Our SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen and our SPF 50 Mineral Powder provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen is a traditional lotion formula made for daily use,  while the SPF 50 Mineral Powder is a convenient brush-on powder option. Both are formulated with skin-nourishing ingredients that will help protect and maintain the skin's moisture without leaving any white residue or greasy feeling. Both are reef-safe, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, vegan, and paraben-free, which means they are safe for your little one’s sensitive skin.

Key Benefits

  • Broad-Spectrum
  • Gentle for Sensitive Skin
  • Mineral, Non-Whitening
  • Mess-Free
  • Non-Greasy
  • Reef-Safe

Key Ingredients

Zinc Oxide

Approved by the FDA, this powerful mineral is SPF's biggest defense against dangerous UVA and UVB sun rays. When applied to the skin, Zinc reflects the rays rather than letting them soak into the skin. This reflection of the sun protects the skin from damage and sunburns. If used regularly, Zinc helps reduce early aging and limits the risk of skin cancer.

Cocoglyceride

This ingredient, derived from coconut oil, moisturizes skin while also providing a soft, smooth texture. Cocoglyceride helps the sunscreen glide on your skin during application, reducing any tugging or pulling. Overall, this ingredient will leave skin feeling silky smooth and looking great.

Titanium Dioxide

Titanium dioxide is a common mineral-based sunscreen ingredient that acts as a physical barrier against the sun's rays. It is gentle on the skin providing long-lasting, broad-spectrum protection that scatters UVA and UVB rays. Titanium dioxide is also non-comedogenic, meaning that it does not clog proses or contribute to acne.

Ceramide EOP

Ceramide EOP is a type of ceramide that provides moisture to the skin barrier. In the SPF Powder, it helps hydrate and moisturize the skin leaving it soft and supple. In addition, Ceramide EOP also has anti-aging properties that help reduce fine lines and improve the skin's tone and texture. Lastly, it boosts the performance of sunscreen ingredients to help assist in protecting against harmful rays.

Do I have to use both at the same time, every time?

It is optional to use both sunscreens at the same time. Both help protect against harmful rays. However, there is no harm in using both as well. It may cover a spot that you didn’t notice you missed! It ensures that you or your little one are protected when using it as often as recommended. If you are applying our SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen and the SPF 50 Mineral Powder together, apply the SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen and allow the skin to fully dry. Once dry, apply the SPF 50 Mineral Powder over the desired area.

How often do I need to reapply for best protection?

For best protection, reapply every 2 hours. For swimming or sweating, reapply after activity. The SPF 50 Mineral Powder product works best on moist skin, so applying immediately after towel drying is beneficial.

Who can use these products? Are they safe for newborns, kids, and adults?

Both products can be used on anyone, but we recommend that children under 6 months consult with your doctor.

If you have any concerns or questions about using the product on your child, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or a licensed skincare specialist.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water and discontinue use. Keep out of reach of small children.

How do I get the brush ready to use the first time?

Start by removing the cap, then slide down the protective sleeve to reveal the brush. The sleeve is built into the packaging and can be slid back up after use. Next, remove the clear rubber band around the bristles. Once the band is off, gently rub the brush back and forth on the palm of your hand for 5 to 10 seconds. You should see a soft puff of powder when you run your finger through the bristles, letting you know it's ready to use.

If you do not see the rubber band, it may have slipped down between the bristles and the plastic packaging. You can gently remove it with tweezers.

Am I able to wash the SPF Powder brush?

It is recommended to not wash the brush with the risk of water or soap leaking into the powder container, possibly leading to a clog or inability to use the product correctly. If you desire to clean the brush, we recommend using disinfectant wipes to wipe the brush while keeping it as dry as possible.

Does this SPF work on all skin colors?

The SPF Powder is light and comes across as translucent. However, it may appear lighter on different skin tones.

In addition, while SPF products are generally formulated to work on all skin types, including different skin colors, it's important to note that some products may work better on certain skin tones than others. This is because different skin tones have varying levels of natural protection against the sun, and may require different levels of SPF and types of sun protection.

Both Sunscreens Together:

Apply mineral sunscreen liberally to cover any of your child's exposed skin. After applying the 'SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen', use the 'SPF 50 Mineral Powder' as a touch-up throughout the day to help refresh your sun protection. Simply brush the powder onto your face and neck or other exposed areas for added sun protection.

SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen Individually:

Apply mineral sunscreen liberally to cover any of your child's exposed skin. Always use as the last step in a routine. Ideally, apply every two hours.

There are various ways you can apply the SPF Powder.

1. Apply it as a daily sunscreen to any exposed area on the body to prevent burns.

2. Apply it to you or your little one's scalp: help protect the scalp from sunburn and prevent flakiness.

3. Use it as a touch up: Throughout the day (maximum of 2 hours), apply to protect exposed areas. If swimming, reapply once dry.

Caution: Both products are for external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water and discontinue use. Keep out of reach of small children.

Reviews

Love!!!

"I use the liquid sunscreen every morning under my makeup. It goes on so smoothly. I use the powder for touch ups during the day and on my toddler."

Charlotte M. (5/5)

too expensive for no product

"my fault for not checking how many ml’s there were on the bottle, but for it to run out after 6 times of use was crazy. It is way too expensive for it to have that little of product inside. also I felt like it didn’t lather nice, like a little did NOT go a long way. it did its job in protecting my babies skin, its a good product, but in my opinion just a little too expensive."

MATLIN M. (2/5)

Clean and easy use

"I love how easy this is to use and how I don’t have to worry about nasty ingredients with my baby"

Chelsey (5/5)

Love the sunscreen, but not the tiny bottle

"I love this product-the sunscreen, but the amount of sunscreen that comes in the bottle with the high price point is just too expensive. I used it solely on my baby’s legs and face maybe 3 times and the bottle already feels empty. There is still some sunscreen in there, but the pump isn’t getting much out, so I have to take it out and wipe off whatever leftovers I can get-not easy to do while trying to put sunscreen on an 8 month old!"

Hannah D. (3/5)

Our favorite!

"We love everything about it! We love how it rubs in and so easy to travel with."

Nicole H. (5/5)

Lucious

"The sunscreen is silky smooth! It goes on evenly and has good coverage. I don’t get that clogged feeling like every other spf lotion. The powder is also awesome - love the applicator and my son just about falls asleep every time I put it on his face :) it’s like a little massage."

Emily S. (5/5)

Good coverage

"I like both the lotion and powder. Powder is nice when you just want to brush them quick but I prefer using them together. I will say the lotion is hard to get off hands once you rub it in to your LO's skin but most are. Unscented which I apperciate it and seems to work really well."

Krissy (5/5)

Great Sunscreen

"We love the powered sunscreen for the face and quick application!"

Melissa K. (5/5)

Lightweight and effective

"Great for my toddler with eczema! The powder is super easy to apply and great for the hairline"

Nicole K. (5/5)

I really like these for

"I really like these for my toddler and baby. The powder is great for my daughters scalp and the sunscreen isn’t so thick and greasy."

Q&A

Is this product waterproof?
We are currently testing the formula of our SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen to ensure that it is waterproof. However, we've seen great results with how long it lasts throughout the day, even when exposed to water! Right now, we recommend applying on your child at the start of the day and reapplying every 2 hours if possible. Our SPF 50 Mineral Powder is not water resistant, so we recommend applying our SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen for activities and using the quick brush application of our SPF 50 Mineral Powder after activities.
At what age can you use product? My baby will be 3 months old when going on our beach vacation.
Hi there! We recommend covering baby in breathable UPF 50 clothing and waiting until they are at least 6 months of age before using our SPF 50 and SPF 30. If you are desperate to find something we recommend consulting with your physician to ensure of your baby's safety. :)
