Key Benefits

  • Mineral-Based Sunscreen
  • Protects Against UVA/ UVB Sun Rays
  • Scalp Protection
  • Mess-Free
  • Cruelty-Free
  • Reef-Safe

Key Ingredients

Zinc Oxide

Approved by the FDA, this powerful mineral is SPF's biggest defense against dangerous UVA and UVB sun rays. When applied to the skin, Zinc reflects the rays rather than letting them soak into the skin. This reflection of the sun protects the skin from damage and sunburns. If used regularly, Zinc helps reduce early aging and limits the risk of skin cancer.

Titanium Dioxide

Titanium dioxide is a common mineral-based sunscreen ingredient that acts as a physical barrier against the sun's rays. It is gentle on the skin providing long-lasting, broad-spectrum protection that scatters UVA and UVB rays. Titanium dioxide is also non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog or contribute to acne.

Ceramide EOP

Ceramide EOP is a type of ceramide that provides moisture to the skin barrier. In the SPF Powder, it helps hydrate and moisturize the skin leaving it soft and supple. In addition, Ceramide EOP also has anti-aging properties that help reduce fine lines and improve the skin's tone and texture. Lastly, it boosts sunscreen ingredients' performance to help protect against harmful rays.

How do I get the brush ready to use the first time?

Start by removing the cap, then slide down the protective sleeve to reveal the brush. The sleeve is built into the packaging and can be slid back up after use. Next, remove the clear rubber band around the bristles. Once the band is off, gently rub the brush back and forth on the palm of your hand for 5 to 10 seconds. You should see a soft puff of powder when you run your finger through the bristles, letting you know it's ready to use.

If you do not see the rubber band, it may have slipped down between the bristles and the plastic packaging. You can gently remove it with tweezers.

Is it beneficial to use another sunscreen with the powder?

It is not necessary to use another sunscreen when the Powder SPF is being used. However, there is no harm to using one as well. It may cover a spot that you didn’t notice you missed! It ensures that you or your little one are protected when using it as often as recommended.

For best protection, apply the SPF 50 Mineral Stick first to cover exposed skin, followed by the SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen. Let each layer dry fully, then finish with the SPF 50 Mineral Powder for easy touch-ups throughout the day. Reapply every two hours or as needed for continued sun protection.

Is the SPF Powder water-resistant?

It is not water resistant, so we recommend applying the SPF 50 Mineral Stick and/or SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen for activities and using the quick brush application of the SPF 50 Mineral Powder after activities.

What is the recommended age of use for the product?

The SPF Powder can be used on anyone, but we recommend consulting with a doctor for children under 6 months.

If you have any concerns or questions about using the product on your child, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or a licensed skincare specialist.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water and discontinue use. Keep out of reach of small children.

Am I able to wash the SPF Powder brush?

It is recommended to keep the SPF Powder as dry as possible. In addition, do not wash the brush as water or soap may leak into the powder container, possibly leading to a clog or inability to use the product correctly. If you desire to clean the brush, we recommend using baby wipes to wipe the brush while keeping it as dry as possible.

Does this SPF work on all skin colors?

The SPF Powder is light and comes across as translucent. However, it may appear lighter on different skin tones.

In addition, while SPF products are generally formulated to work on all skin types, including different skin colors, it's important to note that some products may work better on certain skin tones than others. This is because different skin tones have varying levels of natural protection against the sun, and may require different levels of SPF and types of sun protection.

There are various ways you can apply the SPF Powder.

1. Apply it as a daily sunscreen to any exposed area on the body to prevent burns.

2. Apply it to you or your little one's scalp: help protect the scalp from sunburn and prevent flakiness.

3. Use it as a touch-up: Throughout the day (reapply every 2 hours), apply to protect exposed areas. If swimming, reapply once dry.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water and discontinue use. Keep out of reach of small children.

Best SPF by far!

"I won't be without this stuff! I keep one in the sports bag, car, house, and pool bag. It protects so well on pale and medium light skin. I only reapplied once during a 10 hour theme park adventure, and my porcelain-skinned toddler was completely unscathed! It doesn't gets called in my wrinkles, doesn't discolor our faces, and is so easy to apply on a wiggly kid!"

Impressive

"This product is really one of a kind, easy application once you have played with the puff just like other powered products. It has a light and affluent scent and is easy to smooth into skin to avoid buildup and dust marks on skin. Highly recommend for anyone with skin!"

— Naomi A. (5/5)

Love

"I absolutely love it. It’s very easy to apply."

— Megan Z. (5/5)

Great powder but needs different packaging

"This is the one of the only spf products I can use as someone with very sensitive skin and rosacea. It has simple, straightforward ingredients without unnecessary added fillers which is very hard to find. Unfortunately, the downside is the packaging. It is very difficult to get the powder out evenly and the brush is not removal to be cleaned. Brushes need to be washed and sanitized b/c they harbor so much bacteria especially for sensitive skin/rosacea. Having a refillable option as well would be so much less wasteful then buying a whole new one everytime. All in all, the powder itself is great but the packaging is not ideal and it would be nice to see at least a couple more shades for deeper skin tones b/c it can start to look ashy when trying to apply the proper amount for protection."

— Rinny (4/5)

Difficult to get out enough powder

"I removed the plastic ring around the tube and tapped it a few times on my wrist but even then a very minimal amount of powder deployed. I'm not sure that any or enough is coming out to trust that I could use it on my child's face."

— Kathleen O. (2/5)

Easiest to apply

"This powder sunscreen is so great for toddler heads! I would hate having to lather mineral sunscreen into my daughter’s hair so this is a life saver."

— Samantha M. (5/5)

Worth it

"I don’t usually leave reviews but this is too good not to! So gentle and doesn’t have that hard sunscreen smell yet very effect! I only use this on my girls and they never burn! LOVE this, highly recommend"

— Bethany (5/5)

Super hard to get the powder out

"I would like it if it was a regular powder in a pallet. It's so hard to get it out consistently. It's a really light shade as well, I wish they had darker for darker skins."

— Kristine T. (1/5)

"Perfect for touchups on the go and for protecting the part in my hair"

— Shan S. (5/5)
