Tomato Fruit Extract

Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, a super antioxidant that helps boost collagen production. Along with that, it helps fend off damage from free radicals that wear on the skin.

Phospholipids, Phytosterols, Linoleic Acid

These few ingredients work together to replenish the protective barrier lipids, sterols, and fatty acids essential for the proper barrier function of your little one’s skin. This protective barrier helps to reduce allergen penetration and water loss, fights inflammation, and locks in moisture.

Apple Fruit Extract

This extract increases the moisture and hydration of the skin. It is also packed with antioxidants that help fight off the harmful effects of free radicals and the damage they cause to skin. All this while being derived naturally from apples.

Can I apply multiple times?

Yes! We suggest applying after bathing your child and applying the Probiotic Power Serum. However, you may use this as often as needed all over the body or as a spot treatment for your child’s skin problem areas.

Can I use other products with this?

Yes, it is encouraged to protect your child’s skin. We recommend using a clean SPF each day to help combat harmful UV rays. One tip would always be to apply products starting with the thinnest, ending with the thickest, and always ending with an SPF.

Burning feeling on face

"I really want to love this product and have been so hopeful it would work for us, but my 3 year old cries in pain that it is burning his skin when we apply it to his face. Is it not meant to be used on eczema flares?"

What ingredient causes the burning/cooling sensation? My baby seems to really hate it being applied to his face and I’m wondering if it’s because of the cooling sensation.
Our Biome Barrier Cream is not formulated to create a cooling sensation, and there are no intentional cooling ingredients in the formula. While we haven’t received feedback about a cooling effect, every child’s skin can respond differently. Sometimes sensations described as “cooling” can occur when a product is applied to skin that is very dry, irritated, compromised, or has small areas of broken skin (such as from eczema, chapping, or abrasions), as the skin barrier may be more sensitive at that time. Because your baby seems uncomfortable when it’s applied to the face, we’d recommend pausing use on that area for now and checking in with your pediatrician or dermatologist, especially if there is redness, irritation, or ongoing sensitivity. What is the difference between this product and your baby lotion? I have been using the biome barrier cream since you first launched Roe Wellness and before the baby lotion was an option so curious if they have the same benefits.
We have two solutions for your baby's skin: Baby Body Lotion and Biome Barrier Cream. The Baby Body Lotion is a quick-absorption moisturizer for all-day use, while the Biome Barrier Cream strengthens the skin's protective barrier and provides targeted protection. Essentially, the Baby Body Lotion is an everyday moisturizer, while the Biome Barrier Cream is a targeted treatment for areas that need extra hydration and barrier support 🤍
You have several food based ingredients in this formulation. Isn’t that a concern when using on broken skin? I’ve been told this increases the risk of food allergies.
We completely understand your concern about food-based ingredients and the potential for allergy development, especially when used on compromised skin. While some of our ingredients are derived from foods (like coconut, apple, and macadamia), they are cosmetic-grade and highly purified. This means they are not the same as consuming the food and typically do not contain the proteins responsible for triggering food allergies. May I use this on my baby’s scalp?
Our Biome Barrier Cream can be applied to your baby's scalp, head, face, and body. Many customers also enjoy using our Calming Baby Oil for the scalp to add extra hydration.
Does this product have an expiration date? I bought this product a while ago and want to make sure it's safe before using it on my baby.
